We offer a systematic, spiritual, scholarly study of an array of Ifá/Òrìṣà subjects. Our programs are designed to contribute to your spiritual maturity, effective leadership, deeper worship, and career as an Ìyánífa, Babaláwo, Oníṣègùn or Olórìṣà. Whether you seek leadership in your local Ilé, employment, or entrepreneurship, our combination of instruction in deep, theological issues as well as practical training for Ifá and Òrìṣà living makes you more marketable. When opportunity presents itself, you must be ready and prepared to move on it. The requirements for admission have been established by the University’s Advisory Council as providing minimum qualifications for admission. Ifá University follows an open admissions policy and all candidates for admission to Ifá University must show evidence of commitment to Òrìṣà Religion, belief, practice and dedication to ìwàpẹ̀lẹ́.
A transcript from high school (or GED) is the standard educational requirement for admission to Ifá University. However, students who wish to avail themselves to the training offered by Ifá University, but who are not high school graduates, should complete the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) section of the admissions application. Ifá University will evaluate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and university-level learning competency you have attained. Examples include industry-training, professional development, private study, work experience or volunteer experience.
